Rules & Regulations for GB Students
1. REGISTRATION
- Learner personal data is required upon the register, please fill in the information correctly in accordance with the identity card as well.
- The security of personal data about you is our priority. We protect this data by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that meet or exceed applicable laws.
- The shipping address needs to be accurate and complete in all respects or else parents might not receive the learning materials' parcel.
2. PAYMENT & FEE
- The course fee is counted on monthly basis.
- The first full payment, which includes registration fee, materials fee, monthly fee, subscription program fees should be made before the class commences.
- The course fee is payable to Golden Brain Multimedia Education Corporation Sdn. Bhd. The Bank Account number 8003-7022-96, CIMB BANK BERHAD. Bank Swift Code CTBBMYKL. Please send the remittance advice with student name/code no. to our official whatsapp number.
- Course fee should be paid before the 5th of every month via online banking.
- 5% course fee discount for learners who do the annual payments.
- All fees paid are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be deferred to next month.
- Materials & Shipping fees will be charged for every level upgrade.
3. ADVANCE-FEES
- Learners are required to pay an advance one-month course fee to avoid the overdue payment. It will be collected in the 2nd month.
- This advance fee is non-refundable, it will be used as payment for last month, last level of study. Or, once you've decided to withdraw or terminate the course from your studies, you need to give us a month's notice. This advance fee will be deducted for the final month of study and you should pay the entire course fees on the differential.
- The advance fee will be forfeited without receiving any one (1) month notice.
- If students do not pay the monthly course fees by the due date, we have the right to use the advance fee to offset against any outstanding fee.
4. FREEZE THE LESSON
- Parents are able to temporarily place their child(ren) on freeze a month when they know in advance that child(ren) are not be able to attend the lesson.
- The course conductor will send you a link to submit the freeze class application form. 7 working days notice prior to placing their child(ren) study on freeze. On Freeze time cannot be backdated.
- The on freeze service application with minimum of one month and the maximum of two months.
- Parents will be billed RM 55.00 a month to pay the E-learning platform’s subscription fee (eschool.gb.my). Course Conductor will assign the exercise on this platform for learners to maintain the study progress.
5. STOP LEARNING OR STOP ATTENDING CLASSES
- Parents are required to notify the company at least one month (1) prior to the date of they wish to discontinue the lessons. The advance fee will be used as payment for the following month's fee.
- If student withdraw or stop attending classes for more than one(1) month without giving any notice to centre, the advance fee will be forfeited.
- If student decide to attend classes after withdrawal of stop attending classes for more than twelve (12) months, is required to make a new payment for registration fee.
6. PUBLIC HOLIDAY
- All classes will automatically be cancelled if it falls on a public holiday in Malaysia and we are not obligated to replace these classes .
7. EXAMINATION or COMPETITION
- Every students will be taken the level upgrade examination for each level and they are also compulsory have to register and participant the International Abacus, Mental Arithmetic Grading Examination which will be held annually.
- Learners are encouraged to participate in competitions to play a role in motivating students to perform and excel and offer a lot more rewards than just the winning prize.
8. OTHERS
- In order not to affect the learning progress, all lessons have planned, please attend the lesson according the Attendance Calendar.
- Students are advised to attend all classes regularly to ensure progress in their learning, as any lesson missed for any reason will not be replaced.
- For e-learning learners, 2 devices are encourage to use during the live-class conduction session, it may make the online lesson run efficiently.
- Management reserves the right to cancel/reschedule classes, replacement class will be arranged if the lesson is canceled by the management.
- Parents should informed centre if they have assigned a different person to pick up their child.
- RM 5.00 will be billed to the parents for late pick up after 30 minutes of the lesson, unless the lesson had informed or arranged delay by the teacher.
